भगवान् गणेश और कावेरी नदी की कहानी |

एक बार की बात है, अगस्त्य ऋषि भगवान् विष्णु और शिव का आशीर्वाद लेने के लिए गए|

अगस्त्य ऋषि एक नदी का निर्माण करना चाहते थे जो दक्षिण भारत के लोगों के लिए सिचाई और पीने का पानी उपलब्द करवा सके|

भगवान् शिव ने उनकी प्रार्थना को स्वीकार किया और उनके कमंडल में दिव्य पानी डाल दिया| और कहा इस कमंडल का पानी जिस जगह गिरेगा वहीँ से नदी का आरंभ होगा|

कमंडल ले कर अगस्त्य ऋषि अब ऐसी जगह की तलाश करने लगे जहाँ से नदी की शुरुआत हो सके| स्थान खोजने के लिए वो कूर्ग पहाड़ियों पर घूम रहे थे| लेकिन किसी निर्णय पर नहीं पहुँच पा रहे थे|

अचानक अगस्त्य ऋषि को एक छोटा बच्चा वहां दिखाई दिया| ऋषि को लघुशंका के लिए जाना था| ऋषि ने अपना कमंडल कुछ देर के लिए उस छोटे बच्चे को देखभाल के लिए दे दिया|

वो छोटा बालक और कोई नहीं, भगवान् गणेश थे| भगवान् गणेश को पता था, कोन सा स्थान नदी के प्रारम्भ के लिए ठीक होगा| जिससे ज्यादा से ज्यादा दक्षिण भारत के क्षेत्रों को पानी मिल सके|

उन्होंने कमंडल वहीँ धरती पर रख दिया| तभी एक कोवा कमंडल पर पानी पिने के लिए बेठा| और कमंडल को वही गिरा दिया| बस वहीँ से नदी का प्रारंभ हुआ| इसी नदी को कावेरी के नाम से जाना जाता है|

Moral:-

जीवन में जो कुछ भी होता है, अच्छे के लिए होता है| अगर आपको लगता है की कुछ आपके साथ बुरा हुआ है| बेफिक्र रहिये,. उस घटना के अच्छे परिणाम हमें भविष्य में देखने को मिलेंगे|

भगवान् गणेश और कुबेर की कहानी |

एक बार की बात है, धन के देवता कुबेर को अपने ऊपर घमंड हो गया, की वो सबसे अमीर देवता हैं| अपने धन का वैभव दिखाने के लिए एक बार इन्होने एक शानदार भोज रखी, और सारे देवताओं को आमंत्रित किया|

भगवान् शिव को भी किया| किसी कारण वश शिवजी भोज में जा नहीं पाए| अरे भई…., जब कोई न्योता आता है, तो किसी न किसी को तो जाना ही पडता है, हाजरी देने के लिए|

तो शिव भगवान् ने हमारे प्यारे गणपति बप्पा को बोला बेटा तू चला जा, आज में थोडा कहीं और बिजी हूँ| तो चले गए बाल गणेश भोज अटेंड करने|

फिर क्या था, वहां जा कर गणेशजी ने भोजन करना शुरू किया, और देखते देखते सारा की सारा खाना खा गए|

गणेशजी की भूख ही न मिटे| उन्होंने वहां रखे हुए बर्तनों को भी खाना शुरू कर दिया| जब बर्तन भी नहीं बचे तो पूरे अलकापुरी शहर में जो कुछ भी मिला उसे ही खा गए|

अब कुछ बचा नहीं खाने को, तो कुबेर को ही खाने के लिए उसकी तरफ दोड़े| फिर क्या था, अपनी जान बचाने के लिए कुबेर ने हिमालय पर्वत पर भगवान शिव की शरण ली, और कहा मुझे गणेशजी से बचाओ|

भगवान् शिव ने एक कटोरे में थोड़े से उबले हुए चावल गणेशजी को दिए| तब जाकर उनकी भूख मिटी| बस गणेशजी ने ये सब कुबेर को सबक सीखने के लिए किया|

सिख :-

बच्चो इससे हमें क्या सीखने को मिला बताओ| कभी भी आपके पास चाहे कितना भी धन हो आप कितने भी अमीर हो कभी भी घमंड नहीं करना चाहिए|

बल्कि हमारे पास अगर धन ज्यादा है तो उसे अच्छे कामों में खर्च करना चाहिए| नहीं तो गणपति बप्पा आ जाएँगे सबक सिखाने|

गणेश जी के टूटे दांत की कहानी |

जब महर्षि वेदव्यास महाभारत लिखने के लिए बैठे, तो उन्हें एक ऐसे व्यक्ति की जरूरत थी जो उनके मुख से निकले हुए महाभारत की कहानी को लिखे। इस कार्य के लिए उन्होंने श्री गणेश जी को चुना। गणेश जी भी इस बात के लिए मान गए पर उनकी एक शर्त थी कि पूरा महाभारत लेखन को एक पल ले लिए भी बिना रुके पूरा करना होगा। गणेश जी बोले – अगर आप एक बार भी रुकेंगे तो मैं लिकना बंद कर दूंगा।

महर्षि वेदव्यास नें गणेश जी की इस शर्त को मान लिया। लेकिन वेदव्यास ने गणेश जी के सामने भी एक शर्त रखा और कहा – गणेश आप जो भी लिखोगे समझ कर ही लिखोगे। गणेश जी भी उनकी शर्त मान गए। दोनों महाभारत के महाकाव्य को लिखने के लिए बैठ गए। वेदव्यास जी महाकाव्य को अपने मुहँ से बोलने लगे और गणेश जी समझ-समझ कर जल्दी-जल्दी लिखने लगे। कुछ देर लिखने के बाद अचानक से गणेश जी का कलम टूट गया। कलम महर्षि के बोलने की तेजी को संभाल ना सका।

गणेश जी समझ गए की उन्हें थोडा से गर्व हो गया था और उन्होंने महर्षि के शक्ति और ज्ञान को ना समझा। उसके बाद उन्होंने धीरे से अपने एक दांत को तोड़ दिया और स्याही में डूबा कर दोबारा महाभारत की कथा लिखने लगे। जब भी वेदव्यास को थकान महसूस होता वे एक मुश्किल सा छंद बोलते , जिसको समझने और लिखने के लिए गणेश जी को ज्यादा समय लग जाता था और महर्षि को आराम करने का समय भी मिल जाता था।

महर्षि वेदव्यास जी और गणेश जी को महाभारत लिखने में 3 वर्ष लग गए। वैसे तो कहा जाता है महाभारत के कुछ छंद घूम हो गए हैं परन्तु आज भी इस कविता में 100000 छंद हैं।

गणेश जी की कहानी |

एक दिन पारवती माता स्नान करने के लिए गयी लेकिन वहां पर कोई भी रक्षक नहीं था। इसलिए उन्होंने चंदन के पेस्ट से एक लड़के को अवतार दिया और उसका नाम रखा गणेश। माता पारवती नें गणेश से आदेश दिया की उनकी अनुमति के बिना किसी को भी घर के अंदर ना आने दिया जाये।

जब शिवजी वापस लौटे तो उन्होंने देखा की द्वार पर एक एक बालक खड़ा है। जब वे अन्दर जाने लगे तो उस बालक नें उन्हें रोक लिया और नहीं जाने दिया। यह देख शिवजी क्रोधित हुए और अपने सवारी बैल नंदी को उस बालक से युद्ध करने को कहाँ। पर युद्ध में उस छोटे बालक नें नंदी को हरा दिया। यह देख कर भगवान शिव जी नें क्रोधित हो कर उस बाल गणेश के सर को काट दिया। 

अब माता पारवती वापस लौटी तो वो बहुत दुखी हुई और ज़ोर-ज़ोर से रोने लगी। शिवजी को जब पता चला की वह उनका स्वयं का पुत्र था तो उन्हें भी अपनी गलती का एहसास हुआ। शिवजी नें पारवती को बहुत समझाने का कोशिश किया पर वह नहीं मानी और गणेश का नाम लेते लेते और दुखित होने लगी।

अंत में माता पारवती नें क्रोधित हो कर शिवजी को अपनी शक्ति से गणेश को दोबारा जीवित करने के लिए कहा। शिवजी बोले – हे पारवती में गणेश को जीवित तो कर सकता हूँ पर किसी भी अन्य जीवित प्राणी के सीर को जोड़ने पर ही। माता पारवती रोते-रोते बोल उठी – मुझे अपना पुत्र किसी भी हाल में जीवित चाहिए।

यह सुनते ही शिवजी नें नंदी को आदेश दिया – जाओ नंदी इस संसार में जिस किसी भी जीवित प्राणी का सीर तुमको मिले काट लाना। जब नंदी सीर खोज रहा था तो सबसे पहले उससे एक हाथी दिखा तो वो उसका सीर काट कर ले आया। भगवान शिव नें उस सीर को गणेश के शारीर से जोड़ दिया और गणेश को जीवन दान दे दिया। शिवजी नें इसीलिए गणेश जी का नाम गणपति रखा और बाकि सभी देवताओं नें उन्हें वरदान दिया की इस दुनिया में जो भी कुछ नया कार्य करेगा पहले !जय श्री गणेश को याद करेगा।

श्री गणेश ने मूषक को सवारी कैसे बनायीं ?

गणेश और सवारी मूषक 

बहुत समय की बात है, एक बहुत ही भयंकर असुरों का राजा था – गजमुख। वह बहुत ही शक्तिशाली बनना और धन चाहता था। वह साथ ही सभी देवी-देवताओं को अपने वश में करना चाहता था इसलिए हमेशा भगवान् शिव से वरदान के लिए तपस्या करता था। शिव जी से वरदान पाने के लिए वह अपना राज्य छोड़ कर जंगल में जा कर रहने लगा और शिवजी से वरदान प्राप्त करने के लिए, बिना पानी पिए भोजन खाए रातदिन तपस्या करने लगा।

कुछ साल बीत गए, शिवजी उसके अपार तप को देखकर प्रभावित हो गए और शिवजी उसके सामने प्रकट हुए। शिवजी नें खुश हो कर उसे दैविक शक्तियाँ प्रदान किया जिससे वह बहुत शक्तिशाली बन गया। सबसे बड़ी ताकत जो शिवजी नें उसे प्रदान किया वह यह था की उसे किसी भी शस्त्र से नहीं मारा जा सकता। असुर गजमुख को अपनी शक्तियों पर गर्व हो गया और वह अपने शक्तियों का दुर्पयोग करने लगा और देवी-देवताओं पर आक्रमण करने लगा।

मात्र शिव, विष्णु, ब्रह्मा और गणेश ही उसके आतंक से बचे हुए थे। गजमुख चाहता था की हर कोई देवता उसकी पूजा करे। सभी देवता शिव, विष्णु और ब्रह्मा जी के शरण में पहुंचे और अपनी जीवन की रक्षा के लिए गुहार करने लगे। यह सब देख कर शिवजी नें गणेश को असुर गजमुख को यह सब करने से रोकने के लिए भेजा।

गणेश जी नें गजमुख के साथ युद्ध किया और असुर गजमुख को बुरी तरह से घायल कर दिया। लेकिन तब भी वह नहीं माना। उस राक्षक नें स्वयं को एक मूषक के रूप में बदल लिया और गणेश जी की और आक्रमण करने के लिए दौड़ा। जैसे ही वह गणेश जी के पास पहुंचा गणेश जी कूद कर उसके ऊपर बैठ गए और गणेश जी ने गजमुख को जीवन भर के मुस में बदल दिया और अपने वाहन के रूप में जीवन भर के लिए रख लिया।

Tulsi, the daughter of Dharmaraja, the God of righteousness, was roaming about in the world in ecstatic devotion to Lord Narayana, in her youthful days and came upon the banks of the sacred river Ganga. There she wandered into a serene ashram full of fragrant flowers and plants swaying in cool breeze. She saw Lord Ganesha, who was in the prime of his youth, beautifully dressed in yellow silks, and lost in deep contemplation on Lord Krishna.

Captivated by the beauty of Lord Ganesha, she entreated him to marry her. Lord Ganesha turned down the proposal, saying that he was least interested in married life. Tulsi became angry and cursed Him saying : "You shall surely marry !", whereupon He also pronounced a countercurse on her : "You too shall get married, but to an Asura, and thereafter you shall be cursed to be born as a plant by the wise men".

Realising her mistake, Tulsi pleaded for mercy, and extolled Lord Ganesha with divine hymns. Lord Ganesha relented and said: "Though you shall be born as a plant, you willinherit the essence of all fragrance. All the gods will be happy with your fragrance, and Lord Hari will be specially glad to receive worship with your leaves. But you shall not be acceptable in the worship offered to me, except on Chathurthi days". So saying, Lord Ganesha left that place and went to Badrikashram.
