जब मर्यादा पुरुषोत्तम श्री राम अपनी पत्नी सीता और भैया लक्ष्मण के साथ चौदह वर्षों के वनवास और रावण के साथ हुए युद्ध के पश्चात् अयोध्या वापस लौटे तब इस उपलक्ष में पूरे अयोध्या में हर्षो उल्लाहस था और सभी लोग खुशियां मना रहे थे। कुछ दिनों पश्चात श्री राम अपने भाइयों एवं पत्नी सीता के साथ राज सभा में थे और सभी को युद्ध में उनके सहयोग के लिए प्यार स्वरुप उपहार दे रहे थे तब माता सीता ने हनुमान को अपने गले से उतार कर बहुत हे कीमती मोतियों का हार दिया और उनकी वीरता सहस और राम भक्ति की सराहना की, हनुमान जी उपहार ले कर कुछ आश्चर्य में थे और उन्होंने माला तोड़ दी और एक एक मोती अपने दांतो से चबा कर उसमे कुछ देखते और उसे फेंक देते,

हनुमान जी को ऐसा करते देख पूरी सभा हैरान थी और माता सीता भी क्रोधित थी की उनके दिए हुए उपहार का इतना अपमान, परंतु भगवान् सही राम इस सब को देख कर मंद मंद मुस्कुरा रहे थे। उनके इस व्यवहार को देख कर सभा में उपस्थित कुछ लोगो ने हमुमान जी को उपहार के इस अपमान का कारण पुछा तब श्री हनुमान जी ने बड़ी विनम्रता से का की में तो इन कीमती मोतियों में अपने प्रभु श्री राम और माता सीता को ढूंढ रहा हूँ, परंतु मुझे अभी तक किसी भी मोती में प्रभु राम और माता सीता के दर्शन नहीं हुए इसलिए ये मोती मेरे लिए बेकार हैं क्यू की जिस वस्तु में मेरे राम नहीं वो मेरे लिए व्यर्थ है। हनुमान जी की इस बात पर पूरी सभा में हलचल होने लगी कुछ हँसने लगे कुछ व्यंग करने लगे कुछ ने तो यहाँ तक कह दिया इस का अर्थ ये हुआ की प्रभु श्री राम और सीता आपके रोम रोम में वास होना चाहिए यदि नहीं है तो आपका ये शरीर भी व्यर्थ है।

ऐसा सुन कर हनुमान जी महाराज ने भरी सभा के सामने अपना सीना चीर के अपने हृदय में विराजित प्रभु राम और माता सीता के दर्शन समस्त सभा को कराये. और ये दृश्य देख कर समस्त सभा जन राम भक्त हनुमान जी की जय जय कार करने लगे।

शिव और विष्णु मे बड़ा कौन ?

भगवान विष्णु और  शिव में से कौन सबसे ज्यादा शक्तिशाली है ?

भारत में सदियों से वैष्णवों और शैव सम्प्रदाय को मानने वालों के बीच श्रेष्ठता का झगड़ा होता रहा है. लेकिन आपने कभी सुन है कि भगवान भी आपस में लड़ते हैं. नहीं न तो चलिए आज आपको बताते हैं एक ऐसी ही कहानी के बारे में. दोस्तों देवाताओं और राक्षस के युद्ध की तो कई कहानियां आपने सुनी होंगी. रामायण और महाभारत के युद्ध की कहानी के बारे में भी सब लोग जानते हैं.

लेकिन क्या आपने कभी सुना है कि भगवान विष्णु और भगवान शिव के बीच भी कभी भयंकर युद्ध हुआ था. बहुत ही कम लोगों को ये पता है कि इन दोनों के बीच भी युद्ध हुआ था. ये कहानी भगवान विष्णु के नरसिंह अवतार से जुड़ी हुई है. प्रह्लाद की रक्षा के लिए विष्णु ने नरसिंह अवतार धारण करके हिरण्यकश्यप का वध अपने पंजे से कर दिया.

भक्त पर हुए अत्याचार से नाराज नरसिंह पूरी सृष्टि के विनाश के लिए उतारु हो गए. उन्होंने समस्त देवताओं यहां तक कि ब्रह्माजी और लक्ष्मीजी की प्रार्थना भी अस्वीकार कर दी. दरअसल आज हम आपको बताने जा रहे हैं कि भगवान विष्णु और भगवान शिव में से कौन सबसे ज्यादा शक्तिशाली है. जानने के लिए देखें नीचे दी गई वीडियो.

आज हम आपको बताने वाले हैं की भगवान शिव और भगवान विष्णु में से बड़ा कौन है. हर किसी के मन में ये सवाल उठता ही रहता है की शिव बड़े हैं या विष्णु तो आज हम इसी सवाल का जवाब लेकर आएं हैं. भगवान शिव त्रिमूर्ति में से एक हैं, अन्य दो भगवान विश्व रचयिता बह्मा तथा संरक्षक देवता विष्णु हैं. शिव को विनाशक माना जाता है, उन्हें देवों का देव कहा जाता है.

उन्हें असीम, निराकार और तीनों देवताओं में सबसे बड़ा माना जाता है. शिव के कई डरावने रूप हैं जो भयानक रूप से शक्तिशाली हैं. त्रिमूर्ति में उन्हें प्रभावित करना सबसे आसान है तथा इनके क्रोध की तीव्रता भी सबसे अधिक है. ऐसा कहा जाता है कि जब जब पृथ्वी पर कोई संकट आता है तो भगवान अवतार लेकर उस संकट को दूर करते है. भगवान शिव और भगवान विष्णु ने अनेको बार पृथ्वी पर अवतार लिया है.

भगवान कृष्ण ने जब गोवर्धन पर्वत उठाया

गोवर्धन पर्वत को गिरिराज पर्वत भी कहा जाता है। 

गोवर्धन पर्वत को गिरिराज पर्वत भी कहा जाता है। पांच हजार साल पहले यह गोवर्धन पर्वत 30 हजार मीटर ऊंचा हुआ करता था और अब शायद 30 मीटर ही रह गया है। पुलस्त्य ऋषि के शाप के कारण यह पर्वत एक मुट्ठी रोज कम होता जा रहा है। इसी पर्वत को भगवान कृष्ण ने अपनी चींटी अंगुली पर उठा लिया था। श्रीगोवर्धन पर्वत मथुरा से 22 किमी की दूरी पर स्थित है।
पौराणिक मान्यता अनुसार श्रीगिरिराजजी को पुलस्त्य ऋषि द्रौणाचल पर्वत से ब्रज में लाए थे। दूसरी मान्यता यह भी है कि जब रामसेतुबंध का कार्य चल रहा था तो हनुमानजी इस पर्वत को उत्तराखंड से ला रहे थे, लेकिन तभी देववाणी हुई की सेतुबंध का कार्य पूर्ण हो गया है, तो यह सुनकर हनुमानजी इस पर्वत को ब्रज में स्थापित कर दक्षिण की ओर पुन: लौट गए।

क्यों उठाया गोवर्धन पर्वत :

इस पर्वत को भगवान कृष्ण ने अपनी चींटी अंगुली से उठा लिया था। कारण यह था कि मथुरा, गोकुल, वृंदावन आदि के लोगों को वह अति जलवृष्टि से बचाना चाहते थे। नगरवासियों ने इस पर्वत के नीचे इकठ्ठा होकर अपनी जान बचाई। अति जलवृष्टि इंद्र ने कराई थी। लोग इंद्र से डरते थे और डर के मारे सभी इंद्र की पूजा करते थे, तो कृष्ण ने कहा था कि आप डरना छोड़ दे...मैं हूं ना।

सभी हिंदूजनों के लिए इस पर्वत की परिक्रमा का महत्व है। वल्लभ सम्प्रदाय के वैष्णवमार्गी लोग तो इसकी परिक्रमा अवश्य ही करते हैं क्योंकि वल्लभ संप्रदाय में भगवान कृष्ण के उस स्वरूप की आराधना की जाती है जिसमें उन्होंने बाएं हाथ से गोवर्धन पर्वत उठा रखा है और उनका दायां हाथ कमर पर है।

इस पर्वत की परिक्रमा के लिए समूचे विश्व से कृष्णभक्त, वैष्णवजन और वल्लभ संप्रदाय के लोग आते हैं। यह पूरी परिक्रमा 7 कोस अर्थात लगभग 21 किलोमीटर है।

परिक्रमा मार्ग में पड़ने वाले प्रमुख स्थल आन्यौर, जातिपुरा, मुखार्विद मंदिर, राधाकुंड, कुसुम सरोवर, मानसी गंगा, गोविन्द कुंड, पूंछरी का लौठा, दानघाटी इत्यादि हैं। गोवर्धन में सुरभि गाय, ऐरावत हाथी तथा एक शिला पर भगवान कृष्ण के चरण चिह्न हैं।

परिक्रमा की शुरुआत वैष्णवजन जातिपुरा से और सामान्यजन मानसी गंगा से करते हैं और पुन: वहीं पहुंच जाते हैं। पूंछरी का लौठा में दर्शन करना आवश्यक माना गया है, क्योंकि यहां आने से इस बात की पुष्टि मानी जाती है कि आप यहां परिक्रमा करने आए हैं। यह अर्जी लगाने जैसा है। पूंछरी का लौठा क्षेत्र राजस्थान में आता है।

वैष्णवजन मानते हैं कि गिरिराज पर्वत के ऊपर गोविंदजी का मंदिर है। कहते हैं कि भगवान कृष्ण यहां शयन करते हैं। उक्त मंदिर में उनका शयनकक्ष है। यहीं मंदिर में स्थित गुफा है जिसके बारे में कहा जाता है कि यह राजस्थान स्थित श्रीनाथद्वारा तक जाती है।

गोवर्धन की परिक्रमा का पौराणिक महत्व है। प्रत्येक माह के शुक्ल पक्ष की एकादशी से पूर्णिमा तक लाखों भक्त यहां की सप्तकोसी परिक्रमा करते हैं। प्रतिवर्ष गुरु पूर्णिमा पर यहां की परिक्रमा लगाने का विशेष महत्व है। श्रीगिरिराज पर्वत की तलहटी समस्त गौड़ीय सम्प्रदाय, अष्टछाप कवि एवं अनेक वैष्णव रसिक संतों की साधाना स्थली रही है।

अब बात करते हैं पर्वत की स्थिति की। क्या सचमुच ही पिछले पांच हजार वर्ष से यह स्वत: ही रोज एक मुठ्ठी खत्म हो रहा है या कि शहरीकरण और मौसम की मार ने इसे लगभग खत्म कर दिया। आज यह कछुए की पीठ जैसा भर रह गया है।

हालांकि स्थानीय सरकार ने इसके चारों और तारबंदी कर रखी है फिर भी 21 किलोमीटर के अंडाकार इस पर्वत को देखने पर ऐसा लगता है कि मानो बड़े-बड़े पत्‍थरों के बीच भूरी मिट्टी और कुछ घास जबरन भर दी गई हो। छोटी-मोटी झाड़ियां भी दिखाई देती है।

पर्वत को चारों तरफ से गोवर्धन शहर और कुछ गांवों ने घेर रखा है। गौर से देखने पर पता चलता है कि पूरा शहर ही पर्वत पर बसा है, जिसमें दो हिस्से छूट गए है उसे ही गिर्राज (गिरिराज) पर्वत कहा जाता है। इसके पहले हिस्से में जातिपुरा, मुखार्विद मंदिर, पूंछरी का लौठा प्रमुख स्थान है तो दूसरे हिस्से में राधाकुंड, गोविंद कुंड और मानसी गंगा प्रमुख स्थान है।

बीच में शहर की मुख्य सड़क है उस सड़क पर एक भव्य मंदिर हैं, उस मंदिर में पर्वत की सिल्ला के दर्शन करने के बाद मंदिर के सामने के रास्ते से यात्रा प्रारंभ होती है और पुन: उसी मंदिर के पास आकर उसके पास पीछे के रास्ते से जाकर मानसी गंगा पर यात्रा समाप्त होती है।

मानसी गंगा के थोड़ा आगे चलो तो फिर से शहर की वही मुख्य सड़क दिखाई देती है। कुछ समझ में नहीं आता कि गोवर्धन के दोनों और सड़क है या कि सड़क के दोनों और गोवर्धन? ऐसा लगता है कि सड़क, आबादी और शासन की लापरवाही ने खत्म कर दिया है गोवर्धन पर्वत को।

हनुमान जी ने भीम को आखिर क्यों दिए थे अपने तीन बाल!

ये किस्सा महाभारत काल का है जब हनुमान जी ने भीम को अपनी जान बचाने के लिए तीन बाल दिए थे.

एक समय की बात है जब नारद मुनि भ्रमण करते हुए पांडवों के पास से गुजरे तो युधिष्ठिर ने उनका स्वागत किया. तब नारद मुनि ने बताया कि आपके पिता पांडु स्वर्ग में दुखी है. जब पांडवों ने इसका कारण पूछा तो नारद ने बताया कि पांडु अपने जीते जी राजसुय यज्ञ करना चाहते थे लेकिन वे कर ना सके और उनकी मृत्यु हो गई.

ऐसे में आप लोगो को राजसुय यज्ञ करके उनकी आत्मा को शांति पहुँचाना चाहिए. नारद की बात सुन पांडवों ने राजसुय यज्ञ करने का निश्चय किया.

इस यज्ञ को करने के लिए भगवान शिव के परम भक्त पुरुषमृगा को भी आमंत्रित करने का फैसला किया गया. पुरुषमृगा का आधा शरीर पुरुष का था और पैर मृग के समान थे इसलिए उन्हें पुरुषमृगा कहा जाता था. पुरुषमृगा को ढूँढने और बुलाने का जिम्मा भीम को सौंपा गया. लेकिन इसमें एक अड़चन थी, पुरुषमृगा की गति का जो मुकाबला नहीं कर सकता था वो उसे मार देते थे. अपनी मृत्यु के भय से भीम चिंतित होकर पुरुषमृगा की खोज में हिमायल की ओर चल दिए. तभी उन्हें रास्ते में हनुमान जी मिले, हनुमान जी ने उनसे चिंतित होने और हिमालय की ओर जाने का कारण पूछा.

तब भीम ने हनुमान जी को सारी कहानी बताई तब हनुमान जी ने कहा कि यह सच है कि पुरुषमृगा की गति बहुत तेज है और उसका मुकाबला कोई नहीं कर सकता और जो नहीं कर सकता समझो उसकी मृत्यु.

चिंतित भीम की समस्या का हल निकालने के लिए हनुमान जी ने कहा पुरुषमृगा की गति मंद करने का एक ही उपाय है और वो है भगवान शिव. चूँकि पुरुषमृगा शिवजी का परम भक्त है इसलिए अगर हम उसके रास्ते में असंख्य शिवलिंग बना दें तो वो उनकी पूजा करने अवश्य रुक जाएगा और उसकी चाल धीमी हो जायेगी और तुम्हारी जान बच जायेगी. तब हनुमान जी ने भीम को अपने तीन बाल देकर कहा कि जब भी तुम्हे लगे पुरुषमृगा तुम्हे पकड़ने वाला है तब तुम एक बाल वहां गिरा देना.

इस एक बाल से वहां पर 1000 शिवलिंग बन जायेंगे, पुरुषमृगा इन सभी शिवलिंग की पूजा करेंगे और तुम उनसे आगे निकल जाना.

हनुमान जी से तीन बाल लेने के बाद भीम जंगल में आगे बढे तभी उन्हें उन्हें शिव की पूजा करते हुए पुरुषमृगा मिल गए. भीम ने उन्हें प्रणाम किया और अपने आने का कारण बताया. तब पुरुष मृगा ने कहा कि तुम मुझसे पहले हस्तिनापुर पहुँच जाओगे तो तुम मुझसे बच पाओगे लेकिन तुम ऐसा नहीं कर पाए तो मैं तुम्हे खा जाऊंगा. तब भीम ने हस्तिनापुर की तरफ पूरे जोर से दौड़ लगा दी. काफी देर तक दौड़ने के बाद भीम ने पलट कर देखा तो पुरुषमृगा उनके पीछे ही था और पकड़ने ही वाला था. तब भीम को हनुमान जी याद आये और उन्होंने एक बाल नीचे गिरा दिया. गिरा हुआ बाल हजारों शिवलिंग में परिवर्तित हो गया. शिव के परम भक्त होने के नाते पुरुष मृगा हर शिवलिंग को प्रणाम करने लगे. इस तरह हस्तिनापुर तक भीम ने तीन बाल गिरा दिए जैसे ही भीम हस्तिनापुर के द्वार में घुसने वाले थे वैसे ही पुरुषमृगा ने भीम को पकड़ लिया भीम ने छलांग भी लगाईं लेकिन उनके पैर द्वार के बाहर ही रह गये.

शर्त के अनुसार पुरुषमृगा भीम को खाना चाहते थे लेकिन भीम कहने लगे की वे द्वार में पहुँच गए. इस तरह दोनों में बहस होने लगी तभी श्रीकृष्ण और युधिष्ठिर वहां आ गए. पुरुषमृगा ने युधिष्ठिर को न्याय करने के लिए कहा, तब युधिष्ठिर ने कहा भीम के पाँव बाहर रह गए थे इसलिए आप सिर्फ भीम के पैर खाने के ही हकदार होते है.

युधिष्ठिर के इस न्याय से पुरुष मृगा प्रसन्न हुए और उन्होंने भीम को छोड़ दिया. इस तरह पांडवों का राजसुय यज्ञ संपन्न हुआ.

प्रत्येक वर्ष माघ मास की शुक्ल पक्ष की पंचमी यानी बसंत पंचमी के दिन वाणी और विद्या की देवी सरस्वती की पूजा होती है। क्योंकि वेद और पुराणों में बताया गया है कि ज्ञान और वाणी की देवी मां सरस्वती इसी दिन प्रकट हुई थी।

इसलिए इस तिथि को सरस्वती जन्मोत्सव भी कहा जाता है। पुराणों में देवी सरस्वती के प्रकट होने की जो कथा है उसके अनुसार सृष्टि का निर्माण कार्य पूरा करने के बाद ब्रह्मा जी ने जब अपनी बनायी सृष्टि को देखा तो उन्हें लगा कि उनकी सृष्टि मृत शरीर की भांति शांत है। इसमें न तो कोई स्वर है और न वाणी।

अपनी उदासीन सृष्टि को देखकर ब्रह्मा जी निराश और दुःखी हो गये। ब्रह्मा जी भगवान विष्णु के पास गये और अपनी उदासीन सृष्टि के विषय में बताया। ब्रह्मा जी की बातों को सुनकर भगवान विष्णु ने कहा कि आप देवी सरस्वती का आह्वान कीजिए। आपकी समस्या का समाधान देवी सरस्वती ही कर सकती हैं।

भगवान विष्णु के कथनानुसार ब्रह्मा जी ने देवी सरस्वती देवी का आह्वान किया। देवी सरस्वती हाथों में वीणा लेकर प्रकट हुई। ब्रह्मा जी ने उन्हें अपनी वीणा से सृष्टि में स्वर भरने का अनुरोध किया। देवी सरस्वती ने जैसे ही वीणा के तारों को छुआ उससे 'सा' शब्द फूट पड़ा। इसी से संगीत के प्रथम सुर का जन्म हुआ।

सा स्वर के कंपन से ब्रह्मा जी की मूक सृष्टि में ध्वनि का संचार होने लगा। हवाओं को, सागर को, पशु-पक्षियों एवं अन्य जीवों को वाणी मिल गयी। नदियों से कलकल की ध्वनि फूटने लगी। इससे ब्रह्मा जी अति प्रसन्न हुए उन्होंने सरस्वती को वाणी की देवी के नाम से सम्बोधित करते हुए वागेश्वरी नाम दिया। माता सरस्वती का एक नाम यह भी है। हाथों में वीणा होने के कारण मां सरस्वती वीणापाणि भी कहलायी।

Tulsi, the daughter of Dharmaraja, the God of righteousness, was roaming about in the world in ecstatic devotion to Lord Narayana, in her youthful days and came upon the banks of the sacred river Ganga. There she wandered into a serene ashram full of fragrant flowers and plants swaying in cool breeze. She saw Lord Ganesha, who was in the prime of his youth, beautifully dressed in yellow silks, and lost in deep contemplation on Lord Krishna.

Captivated by the beauty of Lord Ganesha, she entreated him to marry her. Lord Ganesha turned down the proposal, saying that he was least interested in married life. Tulsi became angry and cursed Him saying : "You shall surely marry !", whereupon He also pronounced a countercurse on her : "You too shall get married, but to an Asura, and thereafter you shall be cursed to be born as a plant by the wise men".

Realising her mistake, Tulsi pleaded for mercy, and extolled Lord Ganesha with divine hymns. Lord Ganesha relented and said: "Though you shall be born as a plant, you willinherit the essence of all fragrance. All the gods will be happy with your fragrance, and Lord Hari will be specially glad to receive worship with your leaves. But you shall not be acceptable in the worship offered to me, except on Chathurthi days". So saying, Lord Ganesha left that place and went to Badrikashram.

There is reason why saints constantly advise devotees to chant the Lord’s names. We do not know when adversity will strike and we will be compelled to draw on our spiritual strength. Devotees who constantly remember the Lord also find the strength to face life’s challenges. A worldly person remembers the Lord at the eleventh hour when all other options have been exhausted. This is a good moment because for many people this is the point when they turn to God. However, it is even better to constantly chant God’s names. Why wait for the eleventh hour.

We crave for recognition and acknowledgment from our superiors as well as peers. Who, after all, does not like appreciation? However, while we love praise when it is directed towards us, we forget to praise our subordinates or those younger to us. We forget that it is those who give respect who get respect in turn. Respect, in other words, is a two-way lane. It is those who exude kindness and love for all who are
in turn widely respected.

Shri Radhe Maa - Gyanamrit - Who owns what?

We cling to wealth we have accumulated and believe it is ours. Is it? Most of us are so busy accumulating this money that we do not pause long enough to even consider why we are doing it? We don't share. We put very little of the accumulated money in the service of God or in the service of fellow human beings.

Why?

Because we feel if it is with us we can use it as and when we need it. We forget that whatever we have – even our bodies made up of five elements – is borrowed from Mother Earth. When the spirit leaves the
body, the earth claims back its share. We leave all of it behind. The money we have accumulated with so much pain becomes reason for bitterness between those we leave behind.

No wonder Devi Maa says: Man is not the master of his wealth, he is merely a trustee.

Shri Radhe Maa – Vachan Amrut - Single-pointed focus

All names, forms and leelas of God are divine. We do realise however that we do not resonate with all forms equally. Some of us for instance naturally feel drawn to the child Krishna, others to Lord Shiva and yet others to Devi. It is important for a sadhak or bhakta to choose one manifestation of divinity and devote all of one's energies in that direction. Devotion to the form of one's ishta makes one firm in one's devotion and helps one achieve the strength to face life's challenges.

Devi Maa says that all men and women of God should be honored and one should pay one's respect to every manifestation of divinity but is it advisable to direct one's devotional energies at one ‘door’.  Jai Mata Di!
