Celebrating Janmashtami with the prettiest French girl in Paris!

A few months after the Gauda Vaishnavas built their temple (temporary) in Paris in the 1970s, Srila Prabhupada the founder Acharya of ISKCON, visited the city where he was interviewed by reporters. Krishna is known as Paris-eswara at the temple, which is called Sri Sri Radha-Pariseswara temple.

At the interview, Prabhupada had remarked, "Radharani has come to France as the most beautiful French girl. Because in the whole world the girls with the most beautiful faces are the French girls."

Today, as we celebrate Janmashtami, Parisian Vaishnavas will also be honoring the arrival of Nandlala, the divine flute player of Vrindavan, who incarnated in the world of mortals drawn by the love of his devotees. Devotees continued to steadfastly look for a permanent temple site for the deites, which happened in 2007.

All glories to Shrimati Radharani of Paris! All glories to Lord Krishna! All glories to Vaishnavas!
