Ravan
the king of the asuras pleased goddess Bhavani with his devotion and
offered her kheer after which she came to be known as Kheer Bhavani.
However, her devotee took to bad ways later and Bhavani asked Lord
Hanuman to take her to Tulamula village near Srinagar, Kashmir, as she
did not want to live in Lanka anymore.
Devi Kheer Bhavani is worshipped in the form of an atma linga and her temple continues to attract devotees from far and wide.
May Mata Kheer Bhavani bless us with sweetness of love, devotion and abundance
