Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa

Mumbai: The Maa Jagdambe Jagran in sannidhya of Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa organised annually by the Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust was held for the eleventh consecutive year in Mumbai day before yesterday.

The organisers of the event had lined up a series of social service initiatives on the days leading to March 2, 2014, the day of the big event. Volunteers of the Radhe Maa Trust support orphanages, old age homes, NGOs engaged in service of the homeless and weaker sections of the society and women's empowerment through the year.

In keeping with their commitment to social causes, The Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa Janmotsav programme which culminated in the Jagran included social as well as religious events. Several institutions, NGOs and organizations came forward to support the event and made it successful.

The trust also undertook distribution of uniforms, study material and provided monetary help to various institutions across India. All these events were completely free and open to all, and thousands of people benefited from them.

Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa’s guidance and teachings guided her devotees in their efforts to organize the Jagran and Divya Darshan, which was attended by two lakh devotees from all over India and abroad. There were musical performances by Bhajan Samrat Narendra Chanchal and Swar Samragyi Anuradha Paudwal who entertained devotees with songs to the  goddess.  Scores of other singers similarly offered seva to Maa Jagdambe and Shri Radhe Guru Maa at the event.

Bus Seva was offered by Mr Anil Garg, a sevadar of Shri Radhe Guru Maa. The seva allowed devotees to reach the venue from Malad railway station and back.
Ambulances and first aid support was made available at the venue. Langar was served to all devotees as prasad.
A resplendent golden chariot driven by five white stallions bought Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa to the stage of the jagran.

Every item of shringaar, every flower and the smallest act of devotion offered to Guru Maa was an act of gratitude on part of her devotees for her countless blessings and guidance in their lives. The golden chariot was but a small gesture of deep devotion that the feet of Guru Maa inspire in the hearts and minds of her devotees.
