Jai Maa Adya Skahti Jari Mari Bandra waali!

Jari Mari Mata manifested her swayambhu idol on a rock on her own on January 9, 1696 on the supremely auspicious day of Angarika Chaturthi, a day on which Lord Ganesha is honored by devotees across Maharashtra. The phenomenon was first noticed by dhobis in the area and as the news spread devotees began to flock to the place.

This temple is located on SV road in the Bandra area of Mumbai, which is home to some of the top Bollywood stars in Mumbai.

The pratima of the Goddess is extremely powerful and is known to fulfill wishes of those who pray to the Goddess with a sincere heart. Over 300 hundred years have passed since Mata Rani manifested herself on the rock and the temple continues to attract devotees in their thousands with special prayers being made on Angarika Chaturthi.

May Mata Jari Mari of Bandra, Mumbai, bless all her sons and daughters with love, abundance, intellience and health!

Jari Mari Mata ki Jai! Maa Adya Shakti ki Jai!
