निष्कलंक महादेव – गुजरात

Everyday, the sea withdraws to allow pilgrims to have darshan of Lord Shiva between 1pm & 10pm.

It seems Pandavas worshipped this Sthala & in their memory 5 Shivalings have been installed.

The Stone Temple Flag (Kodimaram pr Dwajasthambham) is about 20 feet height which has remained undamaged in floods or hurricanes so far. Upto 1 PM everyday, the sea water level touches the top of this Stone Temple Flag.

After 1pm, sea level starts reducing on both sides & allows people to go & worship Lord Shiva! This is the speciality of this wonderful Temple, probably the only one of its kind in the whole world.

Jai Mannarsala Nagaraja!

Nagas are celestial beings with the power to grant wishes. The Nagaraja Temple of Mannarasala in Kerala is believed to bestow children on devotees.

Families who are thus blessed offer small images of Nagaraja to the temple. The turmeric paste distributed at the temple is believed to possess curative powers.
