Ganesh Chaturthi in Switzerland

After Christianity and Islam, Hinduism is the largest religion in Switzerland. Sri Sivasubramaniar Temple located in Adliswil in the Sihl Valley in the canton of Z├╝rich, Switzerland is the largest Hindu temple in the country.

The temple has a beautiful Mahaganapaty idol that is offered regular worship by the predominantly Tamil worshippers. A major ceremony is held on Vinayaka Chaturthi every year to honor Lord Ganesha.
Mahaganaty is considered to be saguna-Parabhramahan - he is God Supreme.
May Lord Mahaganapati of the Sri Sivasubramaniar Temple bless us with the desire to serve all beings!

Jai Ganapaty! Jai Ganesha!
