A Lord Shiva temple in Muscat

Merchants from Gujarat have settled in Muscat for centuries where they traded in pearls. Over a century ago, some merchants decided to built a temple of Lord Shiva in
Muscat with the support of the local ruler.

The Motishwar Mahadev Temple is home to Lord Shiva as the Lord of Pearl or Motishwar.

May Lord Motishwara bless all his devotees with success, peace and compassion for all sentient beings.
