Yogi Krishnanath (Alessandro Pace), a Yogi of Italian descent, who spend several years in the Himalayas and became a staunch proponent of Hinduism, built a Shiva-Kali temple in Rome, the world centre of Roman Catholicism, headed by the pope. Regular pujas, havans, and satsangs based on the teachings of the Baba Gorakhnath are held here through the year.

Baba Krishnanath and Mata Gori Nath who is 65 and also of Italian temple offer worship to the image of Mata Kalika and Shiva Lingam at the temple, which attracts devotees from across the world.

Sun Wukong or Monkey King - Lord Hanuman

Sun Wukong or Monkey King, is a character in the novel Journey to the West. Sun Wukong like Hanuman possesses immense strength and speed and has the power to transform himself into 72 animals and objects. 

Sun Wukong is considered by some American, Chinese, and Indian scholars to be influenced by the Hindu deity Hanuman from the Ramayana.

Sun Wukong like Hanuman is a symbol for the human mind and its awesome powers. The mind left to its own becomes destructive and swallows the sun. When it surrenders to Lord Rama, it becomes the powerful protector of good.

Mata Mahagauri the eight manifestation among the Navadurgas,  has several parallels with Goddess Oshun in the Yoruba tradition. Orisha, like Mahagauri grants love, intimacy, beauty, wealth and diplomacy to her devotees. Ọṣhun is beneficent, generous and very kind but like Mahagauri she has a great temper for those who threaten or pose a danger to her children. Oshun is Shango, god of lightning and thunder who loves drums like Lord Shambhu loves his damaru-drum in the Hindu tradition.

Katyayini, the sixth amongst the Navadurgas, has close parallels with Isis the ancient Egyptian goddess. Karyayini is a fierce protector of devotees who does not merely destroy their enemies without but also burns to ashes qualities like ignorance, anger and greed that come in the way a devotees spiritual growth.

Isis is like Katyayini a Goddess of magic and the power behind mantras and incantations. Just as Katyayaini is called mantrini, Isis was known as the Lady of the Words of Power.

Radhe Maa Foundation to organize Mega Blood Donation Camp

Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa is a nationally revered spiritual and humanitarian ambassador. The Sanatan Hindu guru has been involved in various humanitarian activities for over twenty years now. Serving God through service to the world is at the heart Guru Maa's teachings.

Shri Radhe Maa continues to live up to the ideal and is not only a great spiritual luminary but also a humanitarian at heart. This Wednesday, 20th March, 2013, Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa's Social Welfare Initiative Foundation along with Dr. R. N. Cooper Hospital will hold a mega blood donation camp at 3rd Floor, Shri Ram Trade Centre, Borivali West. The blood donation camp has been held with the acute blood shortage in public hospitals. The donation will be held from 11 AM to 5 PM.

Shri Radhe Maa and her sevadars have been supporting healthcare initiatives for many years. Such blood donation camps help underprivileged sections of society gain easy access to blood during accidents and other emergencies.
