3rd March, 2020, New Delhi: Grand Donation Drive - Shri Radhe Maa Charit...

Radhe Maa Ji believes that service to mankind is the best form of service. Since the past two years on March 3, Shree Radhe Maa Ji celebrated her birthday by serving the needy, the disabled and the poor with countless charities. Free donations of folding beds, sewing machines, wheelchairs and blind sticks were made by Mamatamayi Shri Radhe Maa to more than 7,000 people on the occasion of her birthday. This year too, Shri Radhe Maa Charitable Society, New Delhi will organize a donation drive on a grand scale to provide needy, poor people with the basic necessities and empower them to lead a better life. 

When & where will the donation drive take place? 
The donation drive will take place on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Japani Park, Sector -10, Rohini, New Delhi – 110085. A free health check-up and blood donation camp will also take place at the venue.

Which items will be donated? 
On the divine occasion of Radhe Maa Ji’s birthday, the following items will be freely distributed to the attendees:

Folding beds 

In 2019, Mamtamayi Shri Radhe Maa distributed folding beds to disabled people present at the donation drive so that they can sleep without difficulty on hard surfaces. This year too, Shri Radhe Maa Charitable Society, New Delhi will distribute folding beds to blind people as well as to the people in need on 3rd March, 2020.

Wheelchairs for old and disabled people

On the occasion of her birthday, Shri Radhe Maa will make free donation of wheelchairs to old as well as disabled people. This will help aged and disabled people to get rid of the plight they experience while walking due to their age and disability. Truly, Radhe Maa is an ocean of kindness. 

Free devices to monitor glucose and blood pressure levels

Countless people in India suffer from lifestyle diseases such as blood pressure and diabetes, but not everyone can afford a device to monitor or regulate the same. Keeping this in mind, Shri Radhe Maa will distribute glucose and blood pressure monitoring devices at zero cost. 

Clothes, books and school bags for the children of Anganwadi

Radhe Maa believes that every child has the right to education. To empower school-going children, Shri Radhe Maa Ji will donate clothes, books and school bags to the children of Anganwadi on the pious occasion of her birthday. 

Other items that will be donated by Mamatamayi Shri Radhe Maa are stainless steel utensil sets, hearing aids, gas stoves/pressure cookers, walking sticks, ceiling fans, shoes, and much more.

केरल का खास पर्व है ओणम

उत्सवों की श्रृंखला के बीच रविवार को ओणम महोत्सव की शुरुआत हुई। उत्सव का विभिन्न स्थानों पर फूलों की आकर्षक रंगोली बनाकर स्वागत किया गया। लोगों का विश्वास है कि तिरुओणम वह अवसर है जब सम्राट महाबली की आत्मा केरल की यात्रा करती है। इस उपलक्ष्य में स्थान-स्थान पर सहभोज और उत्सव का आयोजन होता है। केरल में बड़े पैमाने पर इस पर्व को मनाते हैं।


केरल के प्रसिद्ध त्योहार 'ओणम' के माध्यम से नई संस्कृति को जानने का मौका मिलता है। इस अवसर पर महिलाओं द्वारा आकर्षक 'ओणमपुक्कलम' (फूलों की रंगोली) बनाई जाती है। और केरल की प्रसिद्ध 'आडाप्रधावन' (खीर) का वितरण किया जाता है। ओणम के उपलक्ष्य में विभिन्न सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम तथा खेल-कूद प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया जाता है। इन प्रतियोगिताओं में लोकनृत्य, शेरनृत्य, कुचीपु़ड़ी, ओडि़सी, कथक नृत्य प्रतियोगिताएँ प्रमुख हैं।
पुराणों में ओणम : ओणम त्योहार सम्राट महाबली से जु़ड़ा है। यह पर्व उनके सम्मान में मनाया जाता है। लोगों का विश्वास है कि भगवान विष्णु के पाँचवें अवतार 'वामन' ने चिंगम मास के इस दिन सम्राट महाबली के राज्य में प्रकट होकर उन्हें पाताललोक भेजा था।
इतिहास की नजर में : माना जाता है कि ओणम पर्व का प्रारंभ संगम काल के दौरान हुआ था। उत्सव से संबंधित अभिलेख कुलसेकरा पेरुमल (800 ईस्वी) के समय से मिलते हैं। उस समय ओणम पर्व पूरे माह चलता था।

ओणम केरल का महत्वपूर्ण पर्व है। यह त्योहार फसलों की कटाई से संबंधित है। शहर में इस त्योहार को सभी समुदाय के लोग हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाते हैं। ओणम मलयालम कैलेंडर के पहले माह 'चिंगम' के प्रारंभ में मनाया जाता है। यह पर्व चार से दस दिनों तक चलता है जिसमें पहला और दसवाँ दिन सर्वाधिक महत्वपूर्ण होता है।

Tadpatri Distribution - Shri Radhe Maa

Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable trust took the initiative to distribute Tadpatri to the needy and differently abled people at National Relief and Welfare Society for the Blind, Malad (west).
