Just
as boyhood, youth and old age are attributed to the soul and the embodied soul
continuously passes through these cycles, similarly the embodied soul passes
into another body at death. The wise man does not get deluded and bewildered
with such a change.

Shri Radhe Maa says her devotees have known her for many births. All beings recognize death as an inescapable reality that awaits at the end of their
lives, and the fear of death is the deepest of all fears that plague the human
mind.
However, Lord Krishna says in the verse quoted above that rebirth of a
soul that has discarded one body is certain. Thus knowing the soul to be
imperishable one should not fear death but should instead face all challenges
in life with a calm mind. If the soul is immortal, it follows that the fear of
death arises from believing one is a perishable body and not knowing that one
is in reality the immortal imperishable soul.
