The glory and power of Lord Nagaraja of Serugalathur

Swami Nagaraja

Swami Nagaraja, considered as the combined manifestation of Bramha, Vishnu and Sadashiva, is said to have blessed Kerala after Parshurama prayed to him to bless the land with fertility. His wish was granted along. Lord Nagaraja, the king of Nagaloka, also assured Parasurama that he would be present eternally at the the temple and respond to devotees who sought his assistance.

His Adisthana is in his temple in Mannarsala said to have been built and concentrated originally by Parasurama. Lord Nagaraja is present as Adi Shesha (Vishnu) and Vasuki (Rudra) in the temple.

The lord has also promised in a subsequent incarnation that he would be present at the site of the temple till the sun and the moon existed. Swami Nagaraja is known to ally the pains of devotees who seek his lotus feet.

May Lord Nagaraja of Mannarsala bless all his devotees with abundance, strength and positivity!

Jai Nagaraja! Jai Parasurama! Jai Hari-Hara! Jai Brahma deva!
