Ganesh Chaturthi in Switzerland

Ganpati

After Christianity and Islam, Hinduism is the largest religion in Switzerland. Sri Sivasubramaniar Temple located in Adliswil in the Sihl Valley in the canton of Zürich, Switzerland is the largest Hindu temple in the country.

The temple has a beautiful Mahaganapaty idol that is offered regular worship by the predominantly Tamil worshippers. A major ceremony is held on Vinayaka Chaturthi every year to honor Lord Ganesha.
Mahaganaty is considered to be saguna-Parabhramahan - he is God Supreme.
May Lord Mahaganapati of the Sri Sivasubramaniar Temple bless us with the desire to serve all beings!

Jai Ganapaty! Jai Ganesha!
