Kashtbhanjan Hanuman |
Consecrated in the nineteenth century by Sadguru Gopalanand
Swami of the Swaminarayan order in Sarangpur near Bhavnagar, the deity in this
temple has a reputation for answering prayers of thousands of devotees who
flock to this temple from all parts of Gujarat, and some come from other parts
of the country as well. The queues are
especially long on Saturdays. An average of 5,000 devotees are served with love
at this temple every day.
Locals believe that those possessed by spirits are relieved
of their pains on entering the temple.
Wherever
dharma is upheld an purity is maintained, Lord Hanuman makes his presence
manifest! May the darling of Anjani, the foremost among servants of Lord Rama bless
us with strength and sadbuddhi!
