Glory and power of the Devi Khadgamala Stotram

Devi Khadagamala

The devata's Mantra, Yantra and Murti are but one reality expressed in three ways. The deity manifests itself on the phenomenal plane through these three mediums. One has to be initiated in the mantra by a competent Guru, the murti has to be enlivened through pran-pratishtaan and the Yantra has to charged by a Siddha before the devata's presence can manifest itself through the Yantra.

For the bhaktas of Devi, the Sri Yantra is the greatest yantra. It is the Devi in all her glory. By worshiping the Sri Yantra all manifestations of Devi, all her attendants and shaktis are appeased.

The Khadagamala stotra is a hymn to the Devis of the Sri Yantra who have the power to grant the four purusharthas - dharma, artha, kama and moksha. It is the worship of the Mahashakti whose leelas enliven all the worlds!

May Uma, the Mother of the Universe, whose eyes captivate Lord Shiva himself guide us on the path of dharma. Jai Mata Di!
