The Significance of FridayFriday or most commonly known as Shukravar according to the Hindu calendar is dedicated to Maa Shakti, the Mother Goddess. Also, on this day devotees worship Maa Santoshi who is considered the incarnation of Maa Shakti. Many devotees observe the Solah Shukravar Vrat dedicated to Maa Shakti which means fasting for 16 consecutive Fridays. It is believed that Maa Shakti will fulfil any desire of the devotee and also grant any wish only if Maa Shakti is satisfied with the devotee’s devotion.
