Shri Radhe Maa - Chant Govinda! Govinda! o foolish one!

Shri Krishna

Overcome by compassion for an aged Brahmin teaching Grammar to his young students at banks of the Ganga in Baranasi, Adi Shankara composed a recited the hymn "Bhaja Govindam", which delivers a warning to people who place scholarship over bhakti. One's wealth, high birth, social standing or even scholarship do not matter when the messengers of death knock one's door. The spiritual earnings made from simran and naam alone profit one in such a sitiation.

Chanting the name of Govinda Sri Krishna, the protector of cows, attracts the supreme grace that ends the cycle of life and death. Therefore, one must unfailingly chant the names and glories of Govinda because He alone can ensure liberation!
