Mahadev Kuber Bhandari Shiv Shanker the, giver of wealth and children

Lord Kuberbhandari Temple is located in Karnali village in the Chanod town of Vadodara district of Gujarat!

The story goes that Mata Parvari was walking along the Narmada river with Lord Shiva when she felt thirsty and hungry and asked the lord that she be fed. Shiva understood Mata Rani's leela. Lord Shiva and Devi's devotees came to pay their respects to the Mata Narmada and they had nothing to drink or eat. Moved by the plight of his devotees, Lord Shiva assumed the form of kubereshwar or Kuber Bhandari or Lord of Kuber the treasurer of the gods to ensure that his devotees would always be fed and served clean water when they visited the spot. The merciful Lord himself became food and water so his devotees would not have to go hungry or thirsty.True to his promise all devotees are fed for free at the temple.

Lord Kuber Bhandari is honoured for his power to grant wealth, abundance, happiness and children to his devotees. The largest number of devotees gather on Somvati Amavasya and on every new moon night when big celebrations are held at the temple.
