13 December 2015 MUMBAI: Radhe Maa devotees Raj Gupta, Vindu Gupta, Bharat Gala, Shefali Vinayak Hirlekar and Talli Babaji reached Damu Nagar in Kandivali, Mumbai on Sunday, to assist the residents who were affected by a ferocious cylinder blasts that claimed two lives and left several others injured on Monday, December 7.
The devotees donated clothes, utensils, packets of salts and lunch boxes to the affected families who lost their homes and personal property in the fire that left the habitation in a mess of fire and smoke. This is the second visit by the devotees since the fire broke out in Damu Nagar. "We will continue to mobilize assistance for the families in Damu Nagar. We are getting a better grasp of what they need to rebuild their lives and will do our best to ensure that they are not left to fend for themselves," explained Sanjeev Gupta, MD, Global Advertisers.
