निष्कलंक महादेव – गुजरात
It seems Pandavas worshipped this Sthala & in their memory 5 Shivalings have been installed.
The Stone Temple Flag (Kodimaram pr Dwajasthambham) is about 20 feet height which has remained undamaged in floods or hurricanes so far. Upto 1 PM everyday, the sea water level touches the top of this Stone Temple Flag.
After 1pm, sea level starts reducing on both sides & allows people to go & worship Lord Shiva! This is the speciality of this wonderful Temple, probably the only one of its kind in the whole world.

How Lord Shiva blessed Ghushma
Once upon a time Sudeha a Brahmin's wife killed her her sister Ghushma's infant son out of jealousy. The sisters were married to the same man but Sudeha was childless. However, on the day Ghushma learned of the loss of her son's life, she did not abandon the worship of Shiva but went on to worship 108 Shiva Lingas that she did dutifully every day.
Lord Shiva was pleased with her. He restored Ghushma's son back to life and also agreed to liberate Sudeha from the cycle of life and death on Ghshma's request. The spot where this lila took place became renowned as Ghushmeshwar in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
May Lord Ghusmeshwar bless all his devotees with the experience of our true nature - sad-chit-ananda!

A Holi celebration where you get beaten by lathis
Lath or lathi is a stick or staff that is used as a weapon in many parts of India. In Barsana, the village where Mata Radha appeared, Holi is celeberatd with Lath.
The women in the village wait with sticks for the residents of Nandgaon, Krishna's village, and therefore Gopa gana, and beat them with sticks. The Gopas shield themselves with sticks as water, gulal and a beating with sticks come their way.
